So happy that @thedodo shared Kelly’s story toda So happy that @thedodo shared Kelly’s story today (go watch it if you didn’t see it yet!). For those that are new here, I’m Jess. I’ve fostered over 150 kittens (including Kelly) with my husband @erikjthoren in the NYC area. ⁣ ⁣ I brought Kelly home a few months ago from @nycacc with her 7 siblings (The Saved By the Bell Kittens). Kelly was the smallest of the bunch and I honestly wasn’t sure she was going to make it. She was only a few days old, very underweight and wasn’t eating so I had to tube feed her. She also had two wounds on her on her tiny body that didn’t look good. ⁣ ⁣ Thankfully, she recovered from her wounds and grew big and strong! 💪🏻 She was adopted with Zach and has an amazing forever home in Brooklyn! This guy’s name is Victor Frankenstein and he’ This guy’s name is Victor Frankenstein and he’s actually a week younger than the rest of the kittens. He was found separately. I was originally only supposed to take the other 3 kittens but this he came into the shelter the same morning and didn’t have placement yet, so I took him too! He weighs about 250 grams and is doing as well as I could hope so far! ⁣ For the rest of the babies names, check out @erikjthoren ‘s latest post and give him a follow! He spent way too long making that reel so hopefully you guys like it! 😹 ⁣ ⁣

I haven’t posted in a few days because I haven’t been taking any new photos. So here’s a video of Sweet Potato that I love! I got an update from his adopter that he went to the vet yesterday. It’s not a surprise but everyone in the office loved him! 😊 He’s also starting to get closer to his new big kitty sister. He still loves his smart kitty toy and his pink window hammock so much! ⁣ As for me, we do have new kittens here. I picked them up Saturday from @nycacc in Brooklyn. They are about 2 weeks old so I’ve been bottle feeding around the clock. Originally they were in my office but I moved them into the living room today so hopefully I can get some good videos tomorrow. ⁣ ⁣
Fritter’s and her babies have all been officiall Fritter’s and her babies have all been officially adopted! ⁣ ⁣ As a recap - Mama and Strudel went together and I’ve already heard from their adopters how much Mama loves to follow her new parents around. ⁣ ⁣ Cannoli and Beignet went to a home with two young children and are already giving them SO much love.⁣ ⁣ Yesterday, Cream Puff was picked up by his new mom and he’s going to a home with former foster Jessie (from the Saved by the Bell crew) and he has two other kitty siblings. ⁣ ⁣ Lastly, Churro was picked up last night and she has a tabby big kitty brother named Kobe! ⁣ ⁣ Unfortunately none of them will have instagram accounts but I  will share the updates on my stories when I get them.⁣ ⁣ Also if you want to laugh, please check out @erikjthoren’s last couple of posts. I know I’m biased but I think his captions are worth the read!
