Thank you so much for so many good name suggestions and I can’t wait to use some of them. ⁣

As for this little lady, I decided to let her finder, @casey2cook name her. She was named after Casey’s grandma who recently passed away. The original Mary Elizabeth would feed the cats in her backyard and even had a little shelter for them. That’s where baby Mary Elizabeth was found. ⁣
⁣
And don’t worry, Casey is planning to fix all the strays in the backyard so no more babies!

What should this pretty little lady’s name be? I’ve had her for over a week and I still haven’t named her. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I just called her little one. She’s doing so great, gaining weight and eating well. Can’t wait for her to get some friends though since she definitely wants a lot of attention.

A couple of weeks ago, I was supposed to join @pil

A couple of weeks ago, I was supposed to join @pilotstotherescue on a rescue mission. The mission involved flying 51 at-risk cats and kittens from a shelter in North Carolina to a rescue in New England. I ended up chickening out when I saw the size of the plane and did not end up going (maybe another time!) but I want to share how amazing this nonprofit is!⁣

@pilotstotherescue is a 501c3 nonprofit that uses a network of volunteer pilots to fly at risk animals to safety! I had the pleasure of meeting Michael, the Founder, and he is so passionate about this work combining his love for aviation and his love for helping animals.⁣
@pilotstotherescue does 5-10 rescue missions per month and this year alone they have already brought 300 animals to safety with a goal of helping 1000 for the year! ⁣
